We can’t get enough of these surprise Maui Proposal Portraits! Nothing compares to the thrill of hiding out, putting on our best show of a casual beachgoer, and awaiting that moment when our couple’s lives turn a new and beautiful chapter. And we get to capture it all on camera. Horacio made the big move on the shore of Po’olenalena and Lina’s reaction was nothing shy of elation for this big question. 

The Maui proposal Portraits

Po’olenalena Beach was flooded in brilliant light and splashes of color. There was barely a cloud in the sky, and the few that drifted by were painted in pinks and tangerine. Wearing a sundress of blue and white, Lina thought Horacio had brought her out to the shore that day to admire the seascape. She took out her phone for a photo and that’s when he did it. In one swift movement, this lucky guy was down on his knee and asking Lina to make him the luckiest person in the world. Her reaction was the perfect meld of surprise and delight.

And, of course, she said yes! That was our cue to introduce ourselves. Angelica, our photographer/spy, stepped from her hiding spot and explained to Lina that Horacio had planned a surprise photoshoot to capture this wonderful milestone.

Horacio and Lina were naturals in front of the lens. As we explored the various tropical backgrounds on Po’olenalena Beach, Horacio and Lina’s love for each other stole the show. They simply indulged in the moment and the magical feeling of life falling into place. Keep scrolling for more sweet moments!
