All The Right Details

Jenna & Ben hired White Orchid Wedding to coordinate their ceremony and reception, and then they booked us for Maui Wedding Photography. It was a match made in heaven (just like Jenna & Ben)! We loved capturing the incredible decor and thoughtful details, and the event was wonderfully organized. 

The Oregon couple was joined by an incredible group of family and friends who were having the best time in Hawaii. Their custom ceremony included tears, laughter, and a traditional lei exchange. 

Gannon’s served as the setting for this sweet wedding. Its scenic hillside ceremony site features tall palm trees, emerald landscaping, and panoramic ocean views. As much as everyone loved the sights and sounds surrounding them, it was Jenna & Ben who really stole the show. Check out some of their ceremony shots below!

Each Sweet Moment – Maui Wedding Photography

Jenna & Ben were so excited to get married in beautiful Hawaii! They love snorkeling and spending time at the beach. Plus, they are true nature enthusiasts, so an earthy outdoor wedding was the perfect fit for them. 

After the ceremony, we spent quality time with the newlyweds. They wanted some romantic and fun couples shots as part of their Maui Wedding Photography. We were delighted to provide that for them. 

First, we got some shots at their ceremony site. And then we drove down to the beach, where a glowy pastel sunset awaited us. Not only was this a chance to get some pretty pictures of Jenna & Ben, but it also gave them some time to take in their wedding day without any distractions. Just the two of them and a gorgeous sunset (and us, careful to photograph it all without interrupting their newlywedded bliss).

A Gannon’s Reception

After our dreamy couples portrait time, we were ready to head back up to Gannon’s, where guests were enjoying a top-notch cocktail hour. This was our chance to capture the first dance, the cake cutting, and a few final moments of this beautiful wedding. 

We get asked a lot if couples need to hire us for their entire reception. In most cases, we can capture all the key reception moments while just being there for the beginning. It’s a great wedding trick to do your cake cutting early in the reception, while the photographer is still there, and then begin your dinner. 

Not only does it help you make the best of your Maui Wedding Photography time, but it also allows you to fully kick back for the rest of your reception, just like Jenna & Ben did.
