Love, laughter, and a touch of friendly sports rivalry define the dynamic relationship between Katie and Bryan. As they celebrate their 5-year anniversary in June, we can’t wait to share their love story and their epic Kauai couples portrait session. Katie and Bryan or “Buster’s” love story, began 13 years ago when they met in college. Hailing from neighboring states, Wisconsin and Minnesota, their shared passion for sports brought them together. While they enjoy watching football and basketball, one thing remains unresolved – Katie’s valiant attempts to convert Bryan into a Packers fan. Needless to say, they are the best of friends, too!

With five years of wedded bliss under their belts, Katie and Bryan decided to celebrate their anniversary in a special way. Opting out of a traditional honeymoon, they purchased their dream house instead. Now, their anniversary trip to Hawaii serves as a double celebration – a belated honeymoon and an opportunity to capture cherished memories!

With no professional photos since their wedding day, they eagerly await updated portraits to complement their love story.

Their Kauai couples portrait session at Shipwrecks Beach was nothing short of magical and epic! Starting in a rocky cove with a weathered charm, Katie and Bryan’s playful and romantic personalities shone through. They were completely immersed in the moment, wrapped up in their love for each other. The dramatic, rugged rocks created a little cove of protection for these lovebirds to naturally pose for our photographer. A little ocean mist never hurt anyone! And these two loved every minute of it!

As the session progressed, the dramatic scenery of Shipwrecks Beach provided an awe-inspiring backdrop. Katie and Bryan’s portraits captured the essence of their adventurous spirits and the depth of their love. Dressed in white, they exuded an ethereal glow on the cliffs that added an enchanting touch to their portraits. What a setting for a portrait!

Happy As Can Be

Katie and Bryan’s Kauai couples portrait session was a celebration of their love, playfulness, and the beauty of their journey together. It ended with splashes in the ocean, of course which was very fitting for these playful, loved-up two!
