Sharing Bright Futures – Kristina’s Maui Business Headshots

We are excited to showcase the Maui Business Headshots of Kristina Shimokawa, an up-and-coming mental health counselor and creator of Nautilus Counseling Hawaii! Because she works with adolescents and adults working with anxiety and depression, Kristina’s brand is warm, welcoming, and dependable. It’s always a pleasure to help capture portraits for members of our community working on improving our island and our island’s ohana. 

The Maui Business Headshots

We met up with Kristina at a private residence decorated with blues and wide spaces that created a soft and airy style to her Maui business headshots. Kristina counsels those with “inner critics”, or those who feel stuck in life. So it was important to highlight her open nature and create a sense of welcome in her portraits. 

When asked about her approach, Kristina said, “The type of therapy I use is holistic and collaborative where the mind, the body, and the emotions are all connected.” Because of her unique style of therapy, we felt an island backdrop would offer just the right touch of community and connection.

After our office shots, we took Kristina out for photos in front of the slopes of the West Maui Mountains. Now that we know Kristina’s soft yet intellectual personality, we have no doubts that she’ll work to make a great improvement in the lives of her clients, sharing their bright futures together.
