Some families carry the islands in their hearts, returning year after year to collect memories like seashells. This year was no different, except maybe even more special. Layla, the oldest, brought her gentle sweetness, the kind that softens every moment. Ashby, a resident joker and self-declared “not a fan of pictures,” kept everyone laughing with his goofiness, even as he tried to pretend he wasn’t enjoying himself. And little Everleigh? She was right in the center of it all, brilliant and determined, making sure she wasn’t missing a single second or a single pose. We had the best time taking their portraits on the beach!

Their dynamic is magic, warm, playful, a little wild, and endlessly loving! Watching them together is like watching a story unfold in real time. So capturing the kids playing, exploring, chasing waves, and letting their personalities shine felt incredibly special.
At DT Fleming Beach, the ocean glowed, the breeze danced through the palms, and Maui gifted them one of those perfect evenings, soft light, golden sand, and a sky that seemed to smile right along with them. Their session was the perfect mix of candid laughter and gently posed portraits, giving them the best of both worlds.
