We were delighted to meet the Mathew family on their first trip to Hawaii! They were SO excited to be on vacation together as a family and thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to capture some Maui family portraits. They haven’t had professional photos taken of their family for four years, so it’s about time in our mind! Life gets so busy and sometimes we forget or don’t have the chance to pause and capture life’s moments and blessings. Thankfully that’s were our team of photographers step in to capture the bright smiles in the sunshine! Keep reading to see more of the Mathew’s morning with us!
Golden Smiles
Our deat family of five lives in Iowa but has previously lived in Asheville, NC, and Joplin, MO. Tom and Melissa will celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary this October! They are blessed with three wonderful kiddos Emily, 11, Andrew, 8, and Patrick, 5 who brought the best attitudes to their Maui family portrait!
As with any family, they have had their highs and lows, but at the end of the day, they know the importance of family and really love spending time with each other. This was their first time in Maui, and Baldwin Beach provided the picturesque setting for their family portrait. We love this beach on Maui’s North Shore because it has a long stretch of sand and epic mountain views. It was a stunning welcome view to Hawaii for our lovely family!
The morning sun created a bright, happy, and loving feel to their sweet portraits. The Mathews were so much fun to work with, and we loved capturing their love for each other on camera. They were full of energy and enthusiasm, and it was clear that they truly enjoyed spending time together as a family! We know they will treasure these memories for years to come…
