A Magical Moment – Michael & Rachel’s Maui Proposal Portraits

During Michael and Rachel’s trip to Hawaii, we photographed one of their favorite moments! Of all the adventures they had while on the island, their Maui proposal portraits session is the one they’ll treasure forever. These pictures are romantic, intimate, and passionate! Michael told Rachel they were going to have a regular photo session. Although Rachel thought Michael would propose, she didn’t want to get her hopes up. However, words can’t explain how she felt when she turned around and saw Michael down on one knee! Rachel was full of excitement and joy. She can’t remember what he said other than, “Will you marry me?” Now, our charming duo is thankful to have these photos. We know they’ll be able to remember one of the most magical days of their lives!
The Dreamy Maui Proposal Portraits
Michael and Rachel spent most of their getaway being beach bums! They sat back, relaxed, and read a good book — we can’t think of a better vacation. Our delightful duo also enjoyed the beautiful weather, met the kindest people, and ate delicious food!
Ironwoods Beach was the location for this session, and we adore how breathtaking this spot is! The lush greenery, dramatic cliffs, and sapphire waves created an enchanting scene. Then, the soft sunset naturally enhanced the brilliance of every shot. Lastly, you can see how ethereal the pastel painting in the sky looks!
Currently, Michael is a therapist, while Rachel is a Special Education Teacher. Our elegant couple has been together for about two years! Most importantly, Michael looked forward to seeing Rachel’s reaction when he popped the question. We think their Maui proposal portraits photographer, Ashlyn, effortlessly captured this moment!
