In a bittersweet moment, the Parise Family gathered on the golden Kapalua shoreline to remember a beloved mother. For Joanne and Diane, it was important to finally live the trip of a lifetime that their mom had always wanted. Wanting to commemorate this moment to celebrate the beauty of life, we were honored to capture their Maui Family Portraits. Though she’s no longer with them, her dream had always been for the whole family to travel to Maui together. Honoring her memory, the troops rallied and made the trip to celebrate a life that inspired them all to share a moment in paradise. Bittersweet, it was a chance to find happiness, peace, and healing through the Aloha Spirit.
Leaving California behind, they discovered the beauty of the islands was breathtaking as they thought possible. Treated to a dreamy evening at Ironwoods Beach, they strolled the sands and climbs the cliffs only to be dazzled more and more with each turn. The gorgeous light was a gift, no doubt their mother’s doing. As the families came together to remember one no longer with them, they were brought closer together to cherish the ones they still hold close. It was a poignant evening and one we were so glad to be a part of. Thank you, Parise Family, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team be the ones to capture this special trip. We wish you all well and hope the healing continues and the happy times rebound. Take care of one another and Warm Aloha!!!
