There’s something truly magical about returning to the place where your story began, only this time, with a new chapter tagging along and stealing the spotlight. The Slott family’s Maui family portrait session was just that: a full-circle celebration of love, growth, and 7-year-old Cohen, with the biggest personality and the brightest smile.
Ten years ago, the Slotts honeymooned on Maui and were photographed on the sun-drenched shores of Southside Beach. It was a moment to mark the start of their life together. This year, they returned to that same beach, but now with their sweet son, ready to experience the magic of Maui for the very first time.
Happy To Be Back
The morning light bathed everything in vibrant gold, and their joy was absolutely contagious. Their son, Cohen, was the undeniable star of the show and completely at home with the sand between his toes. He brought so much laughter to the session, and we loved capturing all the little in-between moments.
As their Maui family photographer, it was such a privilege to witness this beautiful progression, from newlyweds to a family of three, now making memories that their son will carry with him for years to come.
