Full Of Joy – The Staudinger’s Oahu Family Portrait
If sunshine had a personality, it would’ve been the Staudinger family during their Oahu family portrait session. From the moment we met them at Waimanalo Beach, we knew this would be one of those joyful, light-filled mornings where everything just clicks. They were celebrating Nicole and Valerie’s birthdays, too, which made it extra special!
The sky was a flawless blue, the sand soft and warm, and that iconic backdrop of Waimanalo, those rugged cliffs meeting endless turquoise water, was showing off in the best way. It was the kind of setting that doesn’t need a filter (but, of course, we brought our signature magic anyway).
We always shoot in a bright, true-to-color, natural style, and this session is exactly why. There’s just something about letting the real light do the work, the golden tones, the ocean’s glow, the breeze that catches a sundress at the perfect moment. We want your photos to feel like you were there, not like someone photoshopped you into a beach ad. And the Staudingers? They brought the best energy to match that light!
From barefoot strolls to sand-between-the-toes cuddles, every photo was filled with connection and laughter. We caught sweet smiles, goofy sibling energy, heart-melting hugs, and that candid magic that happens when a family feels fully at ease.
We captured all the feels and moments in between. They were totally at ease and carefree because that’s the magic of a Hawaiian vacation! Our photographer was sure to capture all the combinations and the group shots, but most importantly, the ones you just can’t plan! Those are just the best ones to frame!
