We loved capturing the Swope’s Maui Family portraits! These Michigan beauties traveled to our island for a relaxing getaway, and they made the trip even more memorable by booking a photo shoot with us. 

You won’t believe that the Swopes have never taken professional family photos. They’re so photogenic and naturals at posing, plus they were so fun to work with! 

Now it’s time to share a preview of their Maui family portraits! This group looked so lovely on Lahaina’s scenic shores, and the sunset was serene and colorful. But don’t take our word for it — see for yourself below!

25 Years and Counting

So what brought the Swopes to Hawaii, and why did they book Maui Family Portraits with us?

Jeanene and Clayton have been married for 25 years, and this family vacation was a chance to celebrate this milestone anniversary. What do they have to show for their quarter century together? 

They have two stunning daughters who are bright, stylish, and joyful. They have career successes and a track record of partnership and trust. They have memories and a lot to look forward to in the years to come. 

What do they not have? Professional family photos!

Well, until now, that is. 

We are so glad we captured the Swope’s Maui Family Portraits. Now they have incredible images to hang on their walls, share with loved ones, and have as a souvenir from their vacation. 

And there is even more love in these pictures, because Alexis & Taylor brought their partners along too. Each and every one of them was so fun to work with and easy to photograph. 

We think that they’ll make family photography a regular thing now that they see how valuable these images are. And they’ll need to come back to Hawaii ASAP because nothing compares to Maui family portraits!

A Lahaina Sunset for Maui Family Portraits

The Swope ohana chose Lahaina Shores Beach for their photo session. We love this location because it has calm waters, amazing sunsets, and lots of fun photo backdrops. It’s also steps away from the Feast at Lele and other great restaurants, so it’s easy to head off to dinner after Maui Family Portraits here. 

The sunset this evening had a golden glow, and the boats drifted in and out from shore in the distance. That’s Lanai you see across the water — this time of year, the sun sinks down behind the island so peacefully. 

We got some final sunset shots of the Swopes before sending them on their way. Their Maui family portraits were so fun, and now they have these images to treasure for a lifetime!
