We have a distinctive photographic style at Karma Hill Photography on all the Hawaiian islands we shoot on.
We specialize in bright, airy photos, with a more “styled cinematic look”. If you are in the market for moody dark images, or only candid photos, we won’t be the right fit for you (and that’s just fine).
We specialize in shooting gorgeous images that won’t go out of style and avoid ultra trendy editing that will look dated a few years down the road. Just as instagram filters change, so does what’s trendy in photography editing. We believe your photos should be timeless.
We adore the beautiful natural light and awe-inspiring backdrops here in Hawaii and want all our photos to feel bathed in it. We love natural connection and emotion and do our best to foster that in every photoshoot.
We give you just enough direction to let the scene feel natural and unstaged while capturing your best angles in the perfect light. One of our favorite shots to capture is the epic wide open scenic photo highlighted by subjects in a prearranged location within the photo. This way we achieve the iconic and mesmerizing Hawaii photography look you were drawn to, with you as the featured models.
