Taking Time For Us – The Wildey’s Maui Family Portrait

The Wildey family recently celebrated their 20th anniversary in the most magical way—by returning to Maui, where they spent their honeymoon, and bringing along their three wonderful children. They thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a Maui family portrait! Hailing from a small town just 40 minutes from New York City, this trip was a special occasion for the whole family.
With kids, Katie, Abigail, and Michael, the Wildeys were excited to have professional family portraits taken. Typically, their vacation photos are either selfies or kindly snapped by strangers, so this was a fun and unique experience for them! We were delighted to work with them on a beautiful day!
As a close-knit family, they love traveling and spending time together. This trip was especially meaningful as it was their first big vacation in a while. They have had a trying last few years, so this was a much-needed opportunity to relax, bond, and create new memories together!
Their Maui family portrait session took place at Ironwood Beach, one of our favorite spots in Maui. The setting was perfect, with the sun casting a golden glow and the ocean providing a stunning backdrop. The Wildey family’s joy was palpable, and their laughter and smiles made the session incredibly special.
Capturing these moments was an absolute delight. The family’s love and happiness shone through in every shot, and the sunset pictures were nothing short of breathtaking. The beautiful colors of the water added an extra touch of magic to an already incredible day!
