The Wu family was thrilled to be visiting Maui for their holiday vacation as you’ll see in their bright smiles! Their love and connection shine through in each portrait! This was a special family time that our sweet family truly cherished. Their kiddos, full of energy and excitement, couldn’t wait to run and play on the beach after the session, as you can imagine!

We often get asked what to wear for a Maui family portrait, and we suggest attire that isn’t too matchy but in a similar color palette – just like our darling family chose! The blend of blues, creams, and sandy beige was just right and complemented the coastal ambiance and colors beautifully…

The morning light was exceptionally soft at Ironwoods Beach for their Maui family portrait! The clouds and ocean mist made their portraits feel like watercolor paintings, don’t you think? The dramatic and gorgeous setting, with the waves crashing in the distance, provided the perfect backdrop for a few twirls in the sunshine… A wave splash always makes beach portraits feel playful and add a dash of spontaneity too!
