The Carters have enjoyed yearly Maui vacations for the last eight years and consider the island their “Happy Place.” We were thrilled when they called us up to capture their first set of Maui Family Portraits! With a graduating senior in tow, a marriage on the horizon, and a baby on the way, this is a photography session you don’t want to miss!
Maui Family Portrait Session
We began the evening capturing the Carters against the tropical backdrops of Makena Shores. The Carters have made this venue their home-away-from-home and love to visit with two families from their neighborhood back in Oregon. We loved the subtle shades of blue the family coordinated. With just the right amount of accents and pops, the Carters look stunning as a group as well as in smaller pairs.
Soon after, we took the short trip down to Makena Shores Beach to capture Maui Family Portraits against the glistening horizon. Even though this was their first session, the Carters were naturals in front of the lens. With smooth transitions between groupings, we were able to capture family, couples, engagement, and maternity photography!
This crew clearly loves spending time together and was always so supportive and uplifting while we transitioned. We could not get enough of the baby-glow from these beautiful soon-to-be parents! Keep scrolling for more precious moments from the Carter Fam!
Claire and Max have been together for eight years. They plan to have a wedding in August at their home in Lake Oswego.
Lauren is attending Oregon State in the Fall and hopes to join a sorority, just like Claire. We’re all about the fun and confident poses from this senior!
