Sweeties by the Sea – The Tuipulotu Family’s Maui Beach Portraits

Last weekend we got to take the Tuipulotu Family’s Maui Beach Portraits! It was a beautiful evening at Polo Beach with a beautiful family! Emily is a wedding coordinator at Simple Maui Wedding, so we’ve got to watch her family grow for nearly seven years. Click here to check out the engagement photos we took for her and Ikaika in 2019. About the Family

Emily & Ikaika live in Wailuku, right here on Maui! Ikaika is a carpenter and Emily is starting her own writing business. She also is an onsite coordinator at a lot of the weddings we photograph. We love getting to work with her – it’s always nice when someone so pretty is also super funny!

Emily says her greatest joys have been being a step-mom to Jesse and a fur-mom to Bieber. And this past December, her joy grew when she had a baby of her own. Little Joey is as cute as can be! Our sunset Maui beach portraits kept the little guy up past his bed time, but he still had a few grins for us. His mom always knows how to make him laugh!

We were sure to get some special pictures of Jesse too. He’s starting high school this year and getting more handsome every year! He loves playing any kind of sport, and on the weekends he goes fishing with his dad. 

Choosing the Right Location for Maui Beach Portraits

Emily has worked at beach weddings all over Maui, so she knows all the ins & outs of our Maui Portrait Locations. She chose Polo Beach for her family portraits on Maui. It’s got great sunset views, versatile scenery, and nice calm conditions. We love how all her pictures turned out, and we’re so happy we get to capture this family’s special memories time after time! 

Puppies and Babies – Our Favorite!

Of course their dog Bieber made a special appearance in these Maui beach portraits! Bieber loves trying to lick Joey’s face, and Joey loves trying to eat Bieber’s fur. So these two are a pretty cute mess! Having a dog and a baby at the portraits was challenging, but we were up for the job! Our efforts definitely paid off, because now we have super adorable photos of the whole crew.
