The Lucas family was so excited to be on vacation in Maui finally! They had planned this trip for years, and unfortunately, the pandemic had put a hold on their plans. But now, they could finally make their dream a reality, and they wanted to remember this trip by booking a Maui family portrait session! They couldn’t wait to spend some quality time together as a family of four…

Coming from cold and snowy North Dakota, they were more than ready for some warm and sunny weather! But, they knew that no matter the weather in Maui, it would be a welcome change from the endless snow and freezing temperatures…and did they choose the most stunning spot for their Maui family portrait! The lush Honolua jungle is so verdant and green, truly a magical place with the light filtering through the trees and tropical leaves…

Our sweet family had the best of both worlds too! After this lush scenery, we went to Ironwoods Beach to catch the sunset and capture a few more beautiful portraits…

The Lucas family marveled at the sky’s transformation from blue to orange and pink as the sun set on the horizon. The dramatic cliffs were the perfect spot to see the sunset! And it was a breathtaking one at that! It was the ideal way to round off their Maui family portrait, as you can see…

These memories will be treasured forever, especially as their darling twins go off into the world on their own! It was an honor to capture this moment and share in the special family moment of their dream Maui vacation!
