My Girl Forever – Chris & Stephanie’s Maui Proposal Portrait
Some moments feel like they belong to a movie, the kind that takes your breath away and makes time stand still. Chris and Stephanie’s Maui proposal at Ironwoods Beach was exactly that kind of moment.
They’ve been together for four years, their story beginning through a mutual friend at work, and on this golden Maui evening, Chris decided it was time for the next chapter. The plan? A surprise proposal, paparazzi-style, with our photographer hidden in plain sight, quietly capturing every emotion as it unfolded.
Ironwoods Beach couldn’t have been more perfect. The cliffs glowed in the late afternoon light, the ocean stretched endlessly behind them, and the sound of waves filled the air. As Stephanie admired the view, Chris dropped to one knee, and everything seemed to pause. Her surprise turned into tears, laughter, and the happiest yes imaginable!
From behind the lens, we caught it all, the shock, the joy, and the way they looked at each other afterward, like the whole world had narrowed to just the two of them. The photos tell the story perfectly: two people in love, standing on the edge of paradise, glowing with happiness.
Afterward, we wandered the cliffs for newly-engaged portraits. The light was soft, the wind playful, and their smiles absolutely contagious. Their Maui proposal portraits are so cinematic thanks to this setting! They looked so effortlessly happy, the kind of happiness that radiates, that you can feel just by looking at them.
