Our First Getaway – Guinn’s Maui Family Photography

This tropical getaway was a family gift from Todd and his wife to their adult children and grandkids. This island has a special place in our lovely couple’s hearts! Twenty-three years ago, Todd and his wife visited to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. In addition, we were excited for this session because they’re a lively bunch! Todd and his wife have two sons, who are in their forties. Then both of their children have a kid of their own; one is eight while the other is five. Lastly, every member of this party lives in Arizona!
Why They Took Maui Family Photography
This trip was the Guinn’s first time on the island! Before their session, Todd told us he wanted to ensure they had magnificent photos showcasing their time in Hawaii. Not to mention, he also wanted us to capture shots of them being together as a family! And by the looks of these photos—we’d say mission accomplished! Most importantly, we’re glad we’re the team they trusted to photograph them having fun during their vacation in paradise.
Southside Beach was the location for this session. The morning weather was flawless; the skies were clear, and the sun was bright! Then, surrounding our charming family is breathtaking scenery. We like sessions at this spot because there are many landscapes — and they all make gorgeous backgrounds. You can see the epic lava rocks, cerulean waves, and lush greenery in the background of their Maui family photography!
