We had a blast at this Maui Family Portrait session! Nick promised Kristen three years ago to take family portraits, and with them being on vacation in Maui in seemed like the perfect time to make it happen! They were the sweetest family ever! Their little boy, Carson, was so cute and friendly. When we first met on the beach, he excitedly said, “Look! I found a shell!” When asked what color it was and he replied, “Purple!” Then he went ahead and said, “I’m not Carson, I’m a shark.” He’s a funny one that’s for sure! We love his playful personality and it’s easy to see where he gets it from. Both Kristen and Nick are incredibly easy going and just the kindest people around! We admire the balance of sweet and silly they have created for their little family.
The whole crew had so much fun at Baldwin Beach! It was the perfect location for them to explore and take in Maui’s natural scenery. This beach feels like it goes on forever, creating an intimate yet adventurous setting. It’s one of our favorite beaches and we could not have asked for a better morning, or company to spend it with. Kristen mentioned they love silly photos, so we made sure to get plenty of them! Just check out those funny faces, there are some real gems in there! They were all so happy and such a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much, Iwata Family, for spending the morning with Karma Hill Photography. We are so glad we got to know you and hope you will be back again soon, we’d love to catch up! Warm Aloha!
