It was a pleasure to capture this lovely Maui Family portrait! The Bishops soaked in the sun of Lahaina Shores as they celebrated their first vacation since blending their beautiful families into one.
Located just a few miles south of the Sheraton, Lahaina Shores was the perfect backdrop for this lively Maui beach portrait. The day of the shoot was graced with shimmering clouds and lit with a gentle, natural light. With the island of Lānaʻi resting on the horizon, the family looked gorgeous in soft hues that showcased their unique personal styles and paired elegantly with the rich tones of the ocean.
We loved watching as the family let loose and rejoiced in their union and this special occasion.
As we were shooting, Shelia commented on how she loved the way the palm trees grew into the sandy shore. What a perfect metaphor for the Bishops’ union… While the tropical blooms in Hawaii are nourished by the ocean, the roots also help to anchor and maintain the shoreline.
Just as the palms meet the sand, the Bishops have joined together to create something truly special, and we’re honored they chose us to help commemorate their dream of a family adventure on Maui. What an inspiration and a testament to the virtue of love!
