Michael and Amanda’s love story began back in high school, where they became sweethearts during their junior year. Fast forward nearly eight years to their Maui proposal portrait, and these University of Texas at Austin alumni are not only college graduates but also partners in life, living together with their adorable chihuahua mix, Ruby, in Houston, Texas. Amanda is currently pursuing her MD/PhD at Baylor College of Medicine, while Michael works remotely, allowing them the flexibility to embark on new adventures together.
Their latest adventure brought them to the breathtaking landscapes of Hawaii—specifically, the magical island of Maui. It was a first for both, and little did Amanda know, it would become an unforgettable chapter in their love story. As they strolled along the shore, Amanda was blissfully unaware of the exciting surprise awaiting her.
