Okay, so imagine this for a Maui proposal portrait: you’re walking barefoot along the golden sands of DT Fleming Beach, hand-in-hand with your person, the sun is casting that magical, glowy haze over everything, and you think it’s just another beautiful afternoon in paradise.
But surprise! It’s not. Because that’s exactly when Tanner drops to one knee.

Tanner and Annick have been together for a little over three years, after the boldest of Instagram DMs led to, well, this. A relationship built on love, laughter, and now, sneaky, ninja-level proposal planning. Tanner wanted to make sure Annick’s proposal moment was unforgettable, and spoiler alert: he nailed it.
Our photographer was full-on undercover, like, rom-com spy mode. Hiding in plain sight until the exact second Tanner popped the question. And let us tell you, Annick’s reaction? Absolutely priceless. She was radiant, shocked, laughing, basically every joyful emotion wrapped into one stunning beach moment. The ring sparkled, the waves applauded, and Tanner looked like he had just won the lottery (which, let’s be honest, he kind of did). Actually, they both did!
