When Trentin said he was ready to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Dixie, we were delighted to coordinate the surprise through a Maui proposal portrait! As you may guess, Dixie didn’t have a clue since she thought they were doing a standard couples portrait together…but Trentin had another special idea up his sleeve, as you’ll see! So in these photos, our beautiful couple, well at least Dixie thought, were taking a few portraits by the shore to mark their Maui vacation…little did she know! For a bit of backstory, they met through friends when she worked at a resort pool on the weekend. They hit it off right away, and Trentin was smitten!

The moment we all were waiting for! When Dixie turned her back, Trentin got down on one knee and asked the big question! And she said yes! As you can see, she was completely blown away and in total shock! She couldn’t believe it!

The next chapter of their romance has begun! We couldn’t be happier for you both! Maui is the perfect place to pop the question – there is something magical in the air, especially in a gorgeous location like Southside Beach!

Hand in hand, they are ready for their next big adventure together! They love to travel together, so we can only imagine where they will go on their next big trip as a newly engaged couple! Dixie and Trentin will undoubtedly treasure these Maui proposal portraits for years to come…but now it was time to celebrate with family and friends!
