Star in the Making – Saesha’s Maui Senior Portraits

During sunset hour, we had the immense pleasure of capturing Saesha’s Maui senior portraits at Thompson Road. The day was both cloudy and sunny and made for the perfect dramatic backdrop for this epic senior!

Saesha is an aspiring actress with a long list of performances to her name. This King Kekaulike alumni practically glows! If you’ve ever had the fortune of watching one of King K’s terrific plays, then you’ve probably seen Saesha in her element, surrounded by peers and perfecting her craft on the stage.

But Shakespeare-worthy acting is just the beginning to this go-getter’s gifts: Saesha’s also rocked the stage with her keen eye for directing and she’s rocked the canvas with her artistic hand, creating frame-worthy masterpieces!

It’s little wonder why she plans to jump into the realm of cosmetology — with such a deep understanding of drama and an artist’s eye, Saesha’s skillset is perfect for making magic happen in the realm of beauty. And speaking of beauty, keep scrolling for more epicness!

We were loving the deep stares and sweet smiles Saesha tossed towards the camera for her Maui senior portraits. This senior knows what she’s capable of — anything!

Calling all agents, we think we’ve found your next big star. Yes, she’s a triple threat: she can act, she can direct, and she can do her own makeup… as well as everyone else’s on the set. Did we mention she can also paint?

Cheynice, Saesha’s talented photographer, rocked her element and sought out the perfect spots to highlight Saesha’s glowing personality. Trees, clouds, rock walls, you name it! We had a blast utilizing all the amazing scenery Thompson Road has to offer. Just check out how amazing these Maui senior portraits turned out!

The island must have known Saesha’s an actress and artist because the clouds brought all the drama and painterly effects that day! French and Prussian blues filled the sky to the West and splashed pinks and creams over the fog to the East. Shimmers of sunlight cascaded over the Pacific ocean, creating an epic backdrop perfectly suited to this epic senior.

Towards the end of the session, Saesha changed into a fierce red and stole the show! Cheynice directed her into some striking power-poses and together these two created Maui senior portrait magic and captured family treasures sure to go up on the photo wall!
