They’ve been through everything side by side: college exams, post-grad growing pains, moving in together in 2020, adopting a dog, and even a year of adventure living in Chicago. Their families adore them, and everyone has been waiting for the day they’d make it official…so just wait to see what happened in their session!
Making It Perfect
Maya, a self-proclaimed romantic (with Henry proudly matching her energy), has always dreamed of a fairytale proposal. So Henry did what any devoted partner would do: he planned every detail. To make sure Maya was picture-ready and unsuspecting, he set it up as a couples portrait session. She thought they were just capturing sweet memories on the beach. And for a little while, that’s exactly what they did, laughing, embracing, strolling along Maui’s dreamy Ironwoods Cliffs. This location practically screams “propose here!”
Then, with the waves crashing in the background and golden light wrapping them in magic, Henry dropped to one knee. The look on Maya’s face said it all: joy, surprise, love, all of it shimmering at once! And she said yes!
