Corina was almost as excited about this photo shoot as we were! This college senior is graduating from the University of Hawai’i West Oahu, so it was the perfect time to capture such a pivotal milestone with gorgeous senior portraits in Maui, Hawai’i.
Corina lives on the island with her beautiful family but had never visited Thompson road before. There’s nothing like watching someone take in the spectacular upcountry views for the first time. We love this location because it offers another side of Maui, far from the beaches but still authentic Hawai’i. Corina decked herself in one of her favorite hues (which is also UH West Oahu’s colors), and boy did that red pop against the greenery!
We can’t get enough of the “old country road” feel of this location! It’s not only beautiful, but it also represents the journey through life, education, and all that’s yet to come. This senior portrait in Maui, Hawaii belongs on the cover of an epic album!
The sweeping view of the island is breathtaking, and so is this grad! We had a great time seeking out the special spots that would give these senior portraits in Maui, Hawaii that extra spark. With nature backdrops galore, we had endless scenery to choose from. Pastures, wooden and rock fences, towering trees, Thompson Road is a country-lover’s dream.
At the end of the session, we snuck in a few couples portraits to include her husband! He kept Corina laughing throughout the session with funny jokes. It made her feel extra comfortable and helped give us some genuine smiles. It’s obvious that he’s very proud of her and her accomplishments.
