The Kamokus have never taken group pictures before. Thankfully, they decided now was the perfect time to get memories captured! Their Maui family portraits are charming, lighthearted, and scenic. Most importantly, we think this precious group should take more photos together! Keep scrolling to experience their collection for yourself.
Southside Beach was the scene for this session, and we wouldn’t have chosen a different location! This destination is one of our favorite spots for portraits because of its picturesque landscapes. Surrounding our stunning family are striking lava rocks, lofty palm trees, and cerulean waves. Then the morning sun was shining down on the shore — naturally enhancing the organic hues of this South Maui spot. Above all, we couldn’t have asked for better weather! Only a few silky clouds covered the soft blue sky.
The Charming Maui Family Portraits
The Kamokus are a lovely family of six who live on Maui! This gorgeous group consists of Kim, her husband, Kehau, and their four kids. The boys, Kaimi and Piikoa, are both big into baseball. Then the oldest daughter, Tayte, is a dancer. Last but not least, Maimai, the youngest, is the cutest soccer player. After we learned about them, we knew we’d capture some dynamic photos!
During this session, our delightful bunch wasn’t afraid to have fun! As soon as they arrived, they were full of energy and enthusiasm. Our sweet group wasn’t afraid to explore this spot with us for breathtaking backdrops. Then they showed off their bright smiles in every Maui family portrait! However, we like how they all coordinated their outfits for these photos. You can see how perfectly their black and khaki attire complement the natural tones around them!
