Our session with the Hansen’s for Maui Family Portraits and shooting Halle’s Maui Senior Portraits was nothing short of amazing!! We had so much fun checking out two different beaches and capturing the sweetest moments between their family. Everyone ran, played and snuggled for some up close and personal lifestyle shots. We love mixing in posed shots along with real life and are obsessed with the combination of portraits we captured!
A Cooperative Crew
A family with 5 kids is sure to be full of adventure and we seriously can’t get over how amazing all the kids did during their hour and a half session! We were super impressed and are confident they enjoyed their shaved ice after the session which was promised for full cooperation 🙂 . It always helps when kids are old enough to understand and benefit from rewards.
Creating a Positive Environment for Maui Portraits
It’s a lot of work for kids to smile and even play on the spot! So everything we do is carefully orchestrated so kids have a positive experience. Plus we always strive to make our experience working with families very personal. Family photos are a very special and personal thing and that day deserves your photographers utmost attention and direction!
Coordinating Outfits
If you couldn’t tell already, we seriously LOVED shooting the Hansen Family! And we can’t get over how stylish they were, props goes to mom! Especially for picking out the most amazingly coordinated swim suits. We had fun talking about photography and how hard it is to coordinate outfits, but this crew nailed it!
It was especially fun for us to take a few Maui Senior Portraits for their oldest daughter, Halle, throughout the session. She was absolutely darling and full of so much light behind he sweet smile! She was a complete natural in front of the camera and we are so glad we could be part of her and her family celebrating this exciting milestone!
