Ten Years of Love – Tokuyama’s Maui Family Portraits

There is something extra special about Maui family portraits when they celebrate ten years of marriage, a beautiful family, and approximately one million giggles. The Tokuyama family traveled from Japan to Maui and joined us at Maluaka Beach for a session that felt joyful from the very beginning. Between sweet cuddles, playful piggyback rides, and the kids showing off their biggest smiles, this family made our job ridiculously fun.

As the session moved toward the shoreline, the evening light softened into the dreamiest golden glow. The kids ran along the sand, played with Mom and Dad, and gave us plenty of those wonderfully imperfect moments that somehow become everyone’s favorites.

Meanwhile, Mom and Dad slipped in a few romantic portraits of their own. After ten years of marriage, they still looked completely smitten, which feels like something worth celebrating.

Then Maui decided to show off. The sky filled with warm sunset colors while the Tokuyama family laughed, hugged, and played along the water’s edge. It was the perfect ending to a session celebrating not only a milestone anniversary, but the beautiful little family their first ten years together created.
